It was proposed to set fivefold duty of the base duty by the draft law for certification, 5000 AMD: the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said, presenting the amendment and addendum being proposed to the law on State Duty.

The draft law on Making Addendum and Amendment to the law on State Duty authored by the Government was debated in the first reading at September 12 NA regular sitting.

According to the law on Seeds, certification of the seeds was carried out in 2005, but state duty for providing certification was not set. Taking into consideration the fact that providing the certification for the seeds and plant material, except the field surveys, implies documentation analyses and laboratory studies of the seeds and plant material, then a need emerged to make amendment and addendum to the law on State Duty – setting state duty for providing certification of seeds and plant material, and its rates do not include the expenditures related to the rendering of services and carrying out actions.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Hovik Aghazaryan presented, the Head Committee endorsed the draft law.

The parliament in the second reading debated the draft law On Approving 2021 Annual Report of the Implementation of the State Property Privatization Programme for 2017-2020 and the package of the draft law on Customs Regulation and the enclosed presented ones.
